Is there a beach close by? There is a small quiet beach, Lele Place Beach and a snorkel spot just steps away on the Lele Place path. As well, a beach with a lifeguard: Charley Young Beach, is just a short 5 minute walk away. Also one of the top surfing coves in Maui is a few steps down the road, a great spot for beginners. Beaches
Is there a pool? A private heated pool is located on the property with access from each bedroom. As well, there is a whirlpool tub, sauna and poolside kitchenette. Pool
Are there laundry facilities? There are two washer/dryer units, one in the Sunset Suite and one downstairs located in the Ohana Hale.
Is there a grocery store nearby? Foodland is located just minutes away driving, or you can walk there and Safeway is located a mere 10 minutes driving time away, as well there is an ABC store and Whaler's. Map of Kihei
What is the weather like? Here in Kihei, the sun shines most days and the temperature is in the 80's. Rainfall is minimal.
Do I need to go up stairs to get to the villa? The main villa has a grand staircase of 19 stairs to the entrance. The steps are large and hand rails accessible. The Ohana Hale is at the ground level.
Is there daily maid service and is there a charge? Yes, cleaning and daily maid service is available at an extra charge of $25/cleaner per hour. Generally it takes 2-4 hours depending on the detailing. To change the linens there is a $50 charge.
Are there restaurants and shops nearby? Yes, there are many restaurants and shops within walking distance of a 2 mile radius.
What other activities are within walking distance? A playground, rollerblade park, skateboard park, surfing lessons and rental equipment, and movie theater.
When is the best time to come and watch the whales? Late December through April. Visit Pacific Whale foundation for more details on whales.
Are there good snorkeling areas? Yes, directly across the street you will find excellent snorkeling, you may even see a turtle.
Is the property child friendly? Yes, the property has areas to play and a gated entry. Very popular with families. Remember to always keep an eye on them in the pool. We do have cribs, child chairs, railings and some baby-proofing available.
Can we get married on property? You can get married on the beach or public areas and have your reception here on property. Unfortunately, weddings in private homes are not allowed in Maui. Weddings
